U.S. Court of Appeals Decision Helps Clear Way for Renewable Matters – Part I

This article, the first of a two-part series, discusses the legal, political, and market impacts of the recent decision by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals affirming the constitutionality of the Colorado Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS).  The Colorado RPS was defended on appeal by Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell partner John Putnam on behalf of the Interwest Energy Alliance.
