Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell LLP is closely following the daily developments with COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, families, clients, and the community is our top priority.
Our Focus on COVID-19 Related Issues
Many of our clients face multifaceted and uncertain impacts from COVID-19. We recognize that helping our clients resolve the regulatory, commercial, legal, and financial challenges that they face may be critical, such as the orderly suspension and eventual restoration of essential public services, navigating project planning through such disruptions, and planning for future projects to be undertaken as part of the economic recovery. As a firm, we are paying particular attention to assisting our clients on these and related issues.
We are committed to providing uninterrupted service to our clients while also observing the best practices to protect the health of our employees and surrounding communities. We are closely monitoring information released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as federal, state, and local governments and health authorities. Effective March 16, and until further notice, our firm has implemented the following:
Remote Work
Our firm has been functioning on a secure, virtual network for some time so that our attorneys can work remotely and continue with business as usual. Attorneys, and now staff, are fully accessible and operational from their remote locations. We are reducing the amount of people and time spent physically in our offices, with only critical business taking place onsite if necessary.
Reduced Travel
We have requested that attorneys and staff limit nonessential travel for the time being. While our in-person interactions may be less frequent for now, we are encouraging the use of virtual meetings on video conferencing platforms, texting, and calling to stay in touch during this time. Attorney and staff office lines are being forwarded so that we are all reachable outside of the office.
We understand and share your concerns during these uncertain times but be assured that we are equipped to handle your legal needs. We wish everyone safety and well-being as we all navigate the challenges presented by COVID-19. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
