Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell is honored to receive the 2024 Outstanding Public Service Award from the Archeological Institute of America. The Firm has represented the Archeological Institute of America, American Anthropological Association, and Society for American Archaeology in two consolidated lawsuits in federal court in Utah and in one case in federal court in Washington D.C. In all of the cases, the groups are working   to protect  Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments.

The Outstanding Public Service Award recognizes exceptional contributions that promote public understanding of, interest in, and support for archaeology and the preservation of the archaeological record.
