It is with great pride (and a bit of sadness) that Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell announces that our managing partner, John Putnam, is leaving the Firm to lead the State of Colorado’s environmental health programs. John will oversee State compliance with the federal Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and the mitigation of hazardous materials, as well as key components of a new state law on oil and gas regulation and other state laws and programs including air and water quality protection. John was selected after a nationwide search. We are honored that John will be joining Governor Polis and the Director of the Department of Public Health and the Environment, Jill Ryan, and the CDPHE staff in taking further steps toward ensuring protection of the air, water, and land in Colorado.
